Requests to Review or Amend Records
Individuals may request details of the personal information held by AIMCO and may also seek correction of that information where necessary. Requests can be directed to the Privacy Officer at info@aimco.net.au.
- Identity verification may be required before we release any records.
- In some circumstances, full access may not be possible (for example, where disclosure would breach another person’s privacy or legal restrictions). If access is restricted, we will explain why.
- We will make reasonable efforts to ensure information is accurate, up to date, and complete.
- Responses are ordinarily provided within 30 days unless a longer period has been agreed.
- There is no charge to lodge a request, although AIMCO may recover reasonable costs associated with providing access**.**

- We aim to resolve complaints fairly and as quickly as circumstances allow, generally within 30 days.
- Where additional time is required due to complexity, we will inform you of the expected timeframe.
- If you remain dissatisfied with our handling of your complaint, you may escalate the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) via www.oaic.gov.au.
